Job Description
As a Mechanical Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in our organization, managing on-site operations and leading a team of Foremen and skilled laborers.
Your primary duties will encompass planning work strategies, coordinating schedules, overseeing budget management, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and upholding exceptional quality standards.
Additionally, you will foster and nurture strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and site personnel.
Key Responsibilities
• Mentor and guide Junior Superintendents
• Evaluate and authorize labor rates
• Handle contract management and communication
• Cultivate positive client relationships

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position.
Work Environment
You will be engaged 100% of the time at a construction site, either in a mobile office or in the field.
Culture
This position requires a hands-on approach, actively participating in the details rather than being confined to an office environment.
Team Size
You will collaborate with a team of 40 individuals, including 25 field workers, 1 estimator, 1 operations manager, 6 project managers, and 3 superintendents.
Hours/Shift
Availability for evening, night, and weekend shifts, with work hours extending up to 16 hours.
Physical Requirements
• Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
• Encounter moving mechanical parts, vibrations, loud noises, and hazardous/toxic substances.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and utilize personal protective equipment.
• Recognize safety signs and signals both visually and audibly and communicate accurately in these situations.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders and stairs.
• Regularly lift and move equipment, supplies, and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Often required to stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina, with continuous movement and use of limbs.
