As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by conducting thorough vehicle inspections and repairs.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EKey Responsibilities:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EPerforming vehicle repairs and maintenance procedures as outlined on the repair order efficiently and accurately per standards set by dealership and vehicle manufacturer\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECommunicating with Service Advisors as well as parts personnel throughout the process of each vehicle inspection/repair/maintenance procedure to effectively set proper customer expectations for parts availability, repair/maintenance costs and completion times\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EConducting 21-point multi-vehicle inspections to make accurate recommendations for repairs and needed maintenance to ensure vehicles are safe and reliable before vehicle is returned to customer\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECorrectly documenting all work performed including any repairs done, maintenance completed and properly listing any diagnostic procedures/inspections performed as well as the reason for the work that was done. This includes completed stories for warranty repair procedures from beginning to end.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMaintaining a clean and safe work place at all times to be compliant with shop requirements\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EProperly checking out and returning all shop provided tools in a clean and orderly fashion, ensuring tools are clean and ready for the next technician to use\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EStaying up-to-date on factory technical bulletins and repair documents\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDriving customer loyalty and shop revenue by providing outstanding repair experience for customer\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EProviding feedback to Service Manager/Assistant Service Manager/Dispatcher when issues arise to keep shop production flowing smoothly\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAssisting Semi-skilled and Apprentice technicians when needed to ensure the continuation of proper service and customer satisfaction\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EQualifications:\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMust be 18 years of age or older to meet requirements to work in the Service Center\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMust possess a valid US-issued Driver's License\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMust demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check and MVR\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAASE or OEM Certification highly preferred\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAbility to safely drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECapable of operating shop equipment including lifts, racks, diagnostic equipment, hand tools, etc\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECompletion of a related post-secondary program, training courses or equivalent work experience\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\003EProfessional demeanor and strong work ethic, which includes a high level of integrity and strong moral compass\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as creating stories for repairs is a required part of the position\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAttention to detail in all aspects\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EPerforming any Union requirements including but not limited to paying Union dues per Local 701 guidelines\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E
