Position Overview: We are in search of candidates for the role of Quality Control Specialist. The starting compensation for this position is $14.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the official approval of all raw materials and finished products.
  • Conduct micro-level tasks, including sampling, analyzing, and interpreting results against established criteria.
  • Perform various microbiological tests on powders, liquids, swabs, filters, and air samples.
  • Inspect machinery prior to production initiation and collect ATP and microbial samples to confirm results.
  • Prepare composite samples and execute a range of chemical, microbiological, and physical tests.
  • Evaluate final products according to customer-specific requirements, which may differ by product.
  • Conduct tests such as Standard Plate Count, Coliform, yeast and mold counts, viscosity, particle size, and bulk density.
  • Formulate chemical solutions based on standard protocols.
  • Execute various quality control audits throughout the facility.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; or a minimum of 1 month of relevant experience.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including proficiency in weight calculations, averages, and percentages.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
