Pequot Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Control Inspector 2nd Shift to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting machined and fabricated parts for conformance to customer specifications and print requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect machined and fabricated parts for conformance to customer specifications and print requirements
  • May be assigned to inspect raw materials and/or parts, commodities or services performed by sub-contractors to determine conformance to specification, requirements or prints
  • Assist in first piece off machine inspection with confidence and accuracy
  • Complete First Articles for Customer with accuracy
  • Operate measuring equipment with efficiency and accuracy such as computer video measuring machine, comparator, bench gages, CMM, roundness tester, hardness tester and calipers and micrometers
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
  • Generally requires one to two years of related experience
  • Must be able to use a personal computer and programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Previous Quality Control experience or work experience with a precision manufacturing job shop is preferred
