Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Station Mechanic to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Ensure equipment is properly set up for production, perform routine maintenance, and make adjustments as needed to support production schedules.
  • Audits and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular equipment audits, respond to audit results and Infinity alarms, and make necessary adjustments to resolve issues.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on machines as needed, including work on weekends to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open communication with production shifts and maintenance teams, providing feedback and reporting issues as needed.
  • Problem-Solving and Support: Assist maintenance and other departments with tasks as directed by the supervisor, and provide feedback on equipment and process concerns.

  • Teamwork and Communication: Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with colleagues, leadership, and customers.
  • Safety and Incident Reporting: Recognize and report incidents and safety risks, consistently practicing and enforcing safe work habits.
Requirements
  • Language and Math Skills: Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English, and perform basic math skills.
  • Prove It Test: Ability to pass a Prove It test.
  • Independence and Flexibility: Ability to work with minimal supervision and willingness to work weekends.
  • Technical Knowledge: Some knowledge of electric and mechanical procedures.
