Job Title: Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to join our team at Consolidated Electrical Distributors. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse and to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload merchandise from trucks and shelves
  • Operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse
  • Deliver merchandise to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Receive and process incoming shipments
  • Keep a clean and organized warehouse
  • Stock materials on shelves and pick orders
  • Process returns from customers and vendors

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving history
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good mechanical skills and ability to learn industry-specific tasks
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a forklift
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Working Conditions:

Unconditioned warehouse environment and outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures and weather conditions.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards
  • Load and unload merchandise onto trucks for delivery and unload at delivery
  • Communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor
  • Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle
  • Deliver and pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers promptly and efficiently

Additional Compensation:

Bonus and profit sharing may be applicable for this position.
