Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Analyze and revise operational plans for branches, including sales and purchase forecasts for all finished goods, accessories, forestry items, and specific merchandising products, rolling 24 months ahead.
• Collaborate with branches to achieve consensus on monthly planning.
• Prepare and submit purchase orders for finished goods to STIHL Incorporated and external vendors.
• Develop an annual planning projection package and assist branches in establishing their annual sales and purchase budgets.
• Address product availability challenges to meet targeted service levels while overseeing inventory levels.
• Order spare parts as necessary.
• Respond to inquiries regarding inventory availability, sales usage history, backorders, and order statuses.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This role requires an individual who can analyze, update, and submit precise strategic, annual, and operational planning for all Finished Goods (FG) and spare parts to ensure product availability for customers at branches. You will also be responsible for monitoring sales demand and inventory to achieve target service levels.
Specifications:
- Experience in sales and purchase forecasting
- Knowledge of APICS and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- 3-5 years of planning experience, preferably with national and/or global exposure
