Maintenance Operations Supervisor

Hyatt Vacation Ownership is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the Engineering staff to ensure excellent owner/guest service and facility maintenance. Your duties will include installing, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment, as well as calibrating controls, gauges, and meters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the Engineering staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
  • Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters to ensure accurate readings.
  • Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves to prevent damage to equipment and facilities.
  • Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed to maintain inventory levels.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, or machines to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers to track maintenance activities and inventory levels.
  • Operate power lifts to move equipment and supplies.
  • Complete the life safety checklist, including the fire-pump run test and generator run test, to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in the development of disaster response protocols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Respond to and attend to owner/guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.

Requirements:

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional.
  • Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Perform physical tasks, including reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
  • Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder.
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
