Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Marketing Lecturer to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching marketing courses, both online and on-campus, and will be expected to provide excellent instruction and student mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach marketing courses, including Digital Marketing, Marketing Principles, and Marketing Management
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Provide focused instruction in a marketing-related niche area, such as marketing analytics or digital and social media marketing
  • Meet scholarly and/or professional engagement requirements to maintain faculty qualification
  • Engage and mentor students in the exploration of career opportunities and placement
  • Work in a team-based environment and provide service to the department and university
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Marketing or a closely related field
  • Meet the Leavitt School of Business faculty qualifications standards for the appropriate AACSB classification
  • Ability to provide an excellent educational experience for students
  • Experience engaging and mentoring students in co- and extra-curricular activities
  • Experience with online course development and teaching
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Marketing or a closely related field
  • Active research agenda in areas relevant to teaching assignment
  • Relevant professional experience in marketing
