Job Title: Lecturer of Marketing

Southern Utah University is seeking a qualified Lecturer of Marketing to join our team. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching marketing courses, both online and on-campus, and mentoring students in their academic and professional pursuits.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach marketing courses, including Digital Marketing, Marketing Principles, and Marketing Management.
  • Mentor students in their academic and professional pursuits, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students and the marketing industry.
  • Engage in scholarly or professional engagement activities, such as research, publication, or professional development.
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and community outreach.
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in Marketing or a related field is required.
  • Applicants must meet the Leavitt School of Business faculty qualifications standards for the appropriate AACSB classification.
  • Applicants with a PhD must meet the academic requirements to be qualified in the Scholarly Academic (SA) category or the academic and professional requirements to be qualified in the Practice Academic (PA) category.
  • Applicants with a master's degree must meet the academic and professional requirements to be qualified in the Scholarly Practitioner (SP) category or the professional requirements to be qualified in the Instructional Practitioner (IP) category.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching marketing courses, both online and on-campus.
  • Experience mentoring students in their academic and professional pursuits.
  • Relevant professional experience in marketing.
