This role will oversee the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to ensure efficient and effective transportation of goods worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global logistics strategies to optimize supply chain operations
  • Manage global transportation networks and negotiate with external partners
  • Oversee the implementation of end-to-end shipping operations planning worldwide
  • Partner with leadership in Sales, Finance, Operations, and Quality/Regulatory to lead integrated planning for strategic supply chain planning of products
  • Lead the budgeting and strategic planning process for the global supply chain operations
  • Hire, develop, and mentor members of the global team
  • Establish metrics that drive accountability and improvement in both operational and financial metrics
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business Administration
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred
  • Minimum ten years of leadership experience in European, Asian, or Global Freight Logistics, Freight Forwarding, managing a procurement team, and/or ownership of freight Profit and Loss
  • Extensive experience in supply chain execution and oversight, planning, ERP systems, process modeling, supply network strategy, and optimization
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possesses extensive understanding of global shipping logistics and services for biological materials
  • Knowledge of importation throughout Europe and Asia
  • Advanced knowledge of contracts, negotiation, vendor management
  • High degree of customer focus
  • Proven management skills with experience building and sustaining global teams
