Production Supervisor Job Summary

The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in the success of our industrial laundry facility. Reporting to the Assistant Production Manager and Production Manager, this individual will assist in organizing and supervising work in the Production Department, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in monitoring changes in work methods and/or equipment usage to improve labor utilization, production efficiency, and department expenses.
  • Conduct new hires and ongoing training in all production departments in conjunction with Team Leads.
  • Execute company production policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor and ensure that standards for production, quality, housekeeping, and safety are met.
  • Evaluate tasks and responsibilities of Production employees and recommend recognition and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate and conduct monthly safety training in conjunction with Area Team Leads.
  • Supervise Area Team Leads to ensure proper execution of tasks as directed by Assistant Production Manager and Production Manager.
Requirements:
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate.
  • Recognize colors, sizes, and types of products.
  • Count, add, and subtract accurately.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
