Job Summary

The Lab Technician assists the Lab Manager in the operations of the lab ensuring quality and same day service standards are met. This role is responsible for operating all lab machinery to fabricate quality eyewear that conforms to Company standards and tolerances. Additionally, the Lab Technician performs machine maintenance, ensures store cleanliness and waste disposal policies are adhered to, and maintains awareness of same day service using the "Ready When Promised" production board. Accurate and prompt completion of all required paperwork/documentation is also a key responsibility. The ideal candidate will have previous lab experience, the ability to learn how to operate and maintain lab machinery and equipment, and a professional attitude and appearance.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate all lab machinery to fabricate quality eyewear that conforms to Company standards and tolerances.
- Perform machine maintenance.
- Ensure store cleanliness and waste disposal policies are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain awareness of same day service using the "Ready When Promised" production board.
- Accurately and promptly complete all required paperwork/documentation.
- Build strong, supportive, and constructive relationships with doctors, peers, and company leaders.

Requirements

- Previous lab experience is preferred.
- Ability to learn how to operate and maintain lab machinery and equipment.
- Detail oriented. Must be able to accurately transcribe words and numbers.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Achieve and maintain the highest level of customer service.
