Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact between the Parking department and Public Safety entities.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of parking facilities and equipment during each shift.
  • Maintain detailed shift logs documenting the operational status of parking systems and any notable incidents.
  • Supervise the daily activities of parking staff, ensuring adherence to operational standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective leadership and team-building initiatives.
  • Perform regular audits of parking transactions and monitor compliance with cash handling procedures.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Assist in the preparation of operational reports and participate in team meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding attendance, appearance, and customer service standards.
  • Manage maintenance tasks and oversee the upkeep of parking facilities.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge of parking operations, including cash handling and facility maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in parking management.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate standard vehicles and familiarity with parking equipment.

Working Conditions: This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, and the ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
