Palm Health Resources is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Springfield, Massachusetts. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions using advanced nuclear medicine techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic purposes.
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET, SPECT, and other specialized scans.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documenting all procedures.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and best practices through continuous education.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
  • Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT (N).
  • Proficiency in nuclear medicine safety protocols and imaging techniques.
  • Strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals and their use in diagnostic imaging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
