About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Johns Hopkins HealthCare. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions using nuclear medicine techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners.
  • Position patients for imaging procedures and ensure that required information is acquired and processed properly.
  • Review images to ensure that they are of the highest quality and meet diagnostic standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine or a related field.
  • Registered by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in nuclear medicine.
  • Current licensure as a nuclear medicine technologist in the state of Washington, D.C.
  • CPR certification.
