Velocity Urgent Care, now solely owned by Sentara Health, is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to join their team. As a Medical Assistant, you will work directly with a Provider, conducting phlebotomy, clinical, and clerical duties.
Responsibilities:- Bring patients into rooms, take vitals, verify patient information, and prepare them for the Provider.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best care for patients.
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Assist with phlebotomy, lab, and clinical procedures.
- RMA, CMA, Paramedic Certification, or EMT-B certifications required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 shifts per month required.
