Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at our Scottsdale office and Phoenix locations. The ideal candidate will have oncology experience or related experience and be able to work collaboratively with physicians to provide patient care in the office and hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Counsel and educate patients on health behaviors, self-care skills, and treatment options.
- Treat and monitor chronic diseases, hematologic conditions, and side effects of chemotherapy in a collaborative manner with physicians.
- Obtain medical histories and conduct physical examinations.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies (e.g., lab tests, x-rays, EKGs) with the supervision of collaborating physicians.
- Prescribe medications and physical therapy and other rehabilitation treatments.
- Provide survivorship directives for patients.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse Practitioner licensed to work in the State of Arizona.
- ACLS/BLS certification.
- Experience in oncology/hematology preferred, but not required.
