Your Role

Your Contributions
  • Knowledge Management
    • Formulate and implement extensive knowledge management strategies to capture, organize, and share legal insights and best practices.
    • Establish and maintain a centralized repository for legal documents, templates, and essential resources.
    • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing through training initiatives and collaborative tools.
    • Develop systems for immediate access to pertinent legal content, providing training on resource navigation.

  • Data Analytics
    • Lead the creation and execution of data analytics initiatives to bolster decision-making and operational efficiency.
    • Examine legal data to uncover trends and insights that inform strategic planning.
    • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate legal data into broader analytics platforms, ensuring data security.
    • Develop strategies for reporting needs, including insights for executive and board reporting.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of knowledge management and data analytics efforts.
  • Technology Integration
    • Oversee global planning for process optimization, enhancing the legal department's effectiveness through innovative technologies.
    • Manage relationships with external service providers to identify opportunities for technological improvements.
    • Coordinate communication regarding technical projects, including meetings, requirements, and quality standards.
    • Lead project delivery, collaborating with technical and legal teams to facilitate effective solutions.
    • Understand business and technical requirements, guiding discussions on new legal systems and enhancements.
    • Develop long-term strategic plans for future applications and systems.
    • Work with Product Management to provide insights on solutions that meet legal needs and improve client experiences.
    • Support key users in legal technology solutions to enhance service delivery.
    • Stay updated on the latest legal technology trends and identify adoption opportunities.
  • Collaboration
    • Partner with legal, compliance, IT, and other departments to align initiatives with organizational objectives.
    • Represent the legal department in cross-functional projects related to knowledge management and data analytics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent military experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in knowledge management or data analytics within a corporate legal setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes and risk management, particularly in cybersecurity.
  • Proven project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and willingness to pursue advanced training.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
