Amalgamated Bank of Chicago is seeking a Treasury Management Specialist. This role is essential for supporting the Bank's Cash/Treasury Management offerings, systems, and clientele, encompassing service implementation, ongoing customer support, and project and product management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates the implementation and maintenance of Treasury Management services in alignment with customer and relationship manager directives.
  • Delivers continuous customer support for clients utilizing the Bank's Treasury Management offerings, whether remotely or at the client’s location.
  • Maintains and shares technical expertise regarding various products and services, including but not limited to ACH, Deposit Services, Electronic Payment Portals, Internet Banking, Lockbox, Merchant Card Processing, Mobile Banking, Positive Pay, and Wire Transfer, along with the technology employed to support clients.
  • Assists in educating clients on the use of new products and services as required.
  • Oversees projects related to internet banking services (both business and retail) and supplementary Treasury Management products.
  • Conducts testing of enhancements, updates, and general releases to Deposit and Internet Banking products/systems, documenting outcomes and identifying any issues through the ABOC Testing Template.
  • Monitors and evaluates the internal control framework, including updated procedures, new risk criteria, and necessary changes in controls due to evolving regulations and processes.
  • Engages in ongoing initiatives, activities, and assessments concerning audit, compliance, and risk management requirements.
  • Prepares special reports for management and completes projects as necessary.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Preferred college coursework in finance and/or business disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience demonstrating knowledge of Cash/Treasury Management services and Banking Operations, including familiarity with cross-functional teamwork, accounting tasks, and interaction with various business lines (compliance, internal audit, and other risk areas).
  • Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
