Amalgamated Bank of Chicago is seeking a Treasury Management Specialist. This role is pivotal in supporting the Bank's Cash/Treasury Management offerings, systems, and clientele, which includes service implementation, ongoing customer support, and project and product management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and sustain Treasury Management services according to customer and relationship manager guidance.
  • Deliver continuous customer support for clients utilizing the Bank's Treasury Management products and services, whether remotely or on-site.
  • Maintain and share technical expertise on various products and services (including but not limited to ACH, Deposit Services, Electronic Payment Portals, Internet Banking, Lockbox, Merchant Card Processing, Mobile Banking, Positive Pay, and Wire Transfer) as well as the technology utilized in customer support.
  • Assist in training clients on the use of new products and services as required.
  • Oversee projects related to internet banking services (both business and retail) and additional Treasury Management products.
  • Test enhancements, updates, and general releases to Deposit and Internet Banking products/systems, monitoring and documenting outcomes by completing the ABOC Testing Template.
  • Review and monitor the internal control structure, including updated procedures, new risk criteria, and necessary changes in controls due to evolving regulations and processes.
  • Engage in ongoing initiatives, activities, and assessments regarding audit, compliance, and risk management requirements.
  • Prepare special reports for management and complete projects as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Preferred college coursework in finance and/or business discipline
  • 5 years of experience demonstrating knowledge of Cash/Treasury Management services and Banking Operations, including familiarity with cross-functional teamwork, accounting and documentation tasks, and interaction with various business lines (compliance, internal audit, and other risk).
  • Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
