Audiology Associates of South Florida is on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Audiologist to become a vital part of our esteemed practice. Our team provides care to both pediatric and adult patients, and we are an integral part of Florida's Early Steps program. A strong commitment to pediatric audiology, alongside adult care, is essential for our new team member.
Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Build trusting relationships with patients and their families through educational support and tailored treatment strategies that cater to individual lifestyles and requirements.
- Conduct thorough audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry.
- Perform auditory processing evaluations, newborn hearing screenings (ABR and OAE), tinnitus assessments, and cochlear implant consultations.
- Fit and provide hearing aids and assistive listening devices to enhance patient experience.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in audiology practices and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- Current or eligibility for Audiology licensure in Florida.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster effective relationships with a diverse range of patients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Experience in pediatric audiology is preferred but not mandatory.
