Job Title: Advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist Night

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

About the Role:
  • Provide respiratory clinical care responsibilities to age-specific groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Assess, plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate treatment, care, and patient needs to achieve goals.
  • Accept shift supervisory responsibility in the absence of a Clinical Specialist or Supervisor.
  • Initiate, operate, manage, and discontinue cardio-pulmonary life support equipment.
  • Work to reduce patient mortality/ICU length of stay through use of clinical and critical thinking skills.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
  • Active and Current Florida State License as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current NRP, and PALS certification (for Altamonte and Celebration).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
  • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Management and Initiation.
  • Infant/Pediatric experience (campus-specific).
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Active RRT-ACCS credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist – Adult Critical Care Specialist) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
