Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Greenville. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical-Surgical settings.

About the Role:

  • Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting, communicating effectively with physicians, nurse managers, and coworkers as needed.
  • Administers medications, performs wound care, and monitors vital signs, ensuring patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness.
  • Demonstrates competency in administering IV infusions, injections, and respiratory support equipment, while maintaining aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
  • Promotes patient education and empowerment by providing clear explanations of disease processes, management strategies, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to implement patient-specific care plans, addressing comprehensive needs and promoting optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current Mississippi Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
