Job Title: Donation Attendant

Join The Salvation Army Central Territory as a Donation Attendant and play a vital role in our mission to serve those in need. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring a clean and organized donation area, and handling transactions with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional and courteous service to donors, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized donation area, adhering to safety and security protocols.
  • Process donations efficiently and accurately, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
  • Sort, load, and unload donations as needed, following established procedures.
  • Support the production process as required, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills, including payroll programs and ability to learn new systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
