Unit Manager/Director - RN

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unit Manager/Director - RN to lead our nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient care for an assigned nursing unit.
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing units.
  • Manage the human resources in assigned units, including recruiting, orienting, and assessing the work performance of nursing staff.
  • Implement disciplinary action when necessary and ensure that patient care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Genesis HealthCare.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
