Behavioral Therapist

Cortica is seeking a skilled Behavioral Interventionist to join its team. In this role, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Key Responsibilities- Implement behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in 1:1 and group settings.
- Develop and implement positive behavior strategies in collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Work in various settings, including homes, communities, schools, and clinics, to provide direct behavior-analytic care to children and their families.
- Document all interactions, including session notes and data collection, to ensure accurate tracking of progress.
- Assist with individualized assessment procedures, including preference assessments and data collection.
- Collaborate with families and supervisors to establish a supportive environment for treatment and education across all settings.
- Follow Cortica's crisis and emergency procedures, including de-escalation strategies and mandated reporting.
- Represent Cortica as a professional in all interactions with families and colleagues.
- Experience working with children, preferably those with autism.
- Bachelor's degree in a human service field or related field; relevant work experience or students enrolled in undergraduate studies will be considered.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Availability to work some days, late afternoons, and evenings.
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.

The base direct pay range for this position is $23.62 to $31.69, with compensation adjusted based on relevant experience, education level, and location.
