Job Title: Behavioral Interventionist

Cortica is seeking a skilled Behavioral Interventionist to join its team. In this role, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in 1:1 and group settings.
  • Develop and implement positive behavior strategies in collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Work in various settings, including homes, communities, schools, and clinics, to provide direct behavior-analytic care to children and their families.
  • Document all interactions, including session notes and data collection, to ensure accurate tracking of progress.
  • Assist with individualized assessment procedures, including preference assessments and data collection.
  • Collaborate with families and supervisors to establish a supportive environment for treatment and education across all settings.
  • Follow Cortica's crisis and emergency procedures, including de-escalation strategies and mandated reporting.
  • Represent Cortica as a professional in all interactions with families and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children, preferably those with autism.
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field or related field; relevant work experience or students enrolled in undergraduate studies will be considered.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Availability to work some days, late afternoons, and evenings.
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
Compensation and Benefits

Cortica offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements for professional development, and referral bonuses.

The base direct pay range for this position is $23.62 to $31.69, with compensation adjusted based on relevant experience, education level, and location.
