Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Carpenter Maintenance Technician to join our team at Elite Sports Clubs. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carpentry and Maintenance Tasks: Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance of various structures, fixtures, and equipment throughout our facilities, including framing, drywall, trim work, and cabinetry.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Repair and maintain doors, windows, locks, and other hardware, as well as install and repair flooring, including tile, carpet, and hardwood.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Construct and repair fitness equipment, benches, and other structures using woodworking tools and techniques.
  • General Maintenance: Assist with general maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner, and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in carpentry or general maintenance, with a focus on commercial facilities preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Tools and Equipment: Proficiency in using woodworking tools and equipment, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and accuracy, and good communication skills to interact professionally with coworkers and customers.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
