Job Summary

  1. Quality Control: Conduct thorough visual inspections of assemblies to identify defects and ensure they meet customer specifications.
  2. Electronic Testing: Perform testing of assemblies using a range of electronic test equipment, including variable autotransformers, volt-ohm-milliamp meters, and oscilloscopes.
  3. Component Identification: Identify faulty components and replace them with approved alternatives to ensure assemblies meet quality standards.
  4. Assembly and Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble units correctly, using hand tools and dimensional measuring tools as required.
  5. Troubleshooting: Perform basic electronic and functional troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with assemblies.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including quality control checks and test results.
Requirements
  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with accepted electronics training or degree.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in electronics assembly, testing, and quality control, with knowledge of hand tools, dimensional measuring tools, and electronic test equipment.
  3. Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work accurately and efficiently, and excellent communication skills.
