Role Overview:

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care. This includes assisting physicians and nurses with patient examinations, administering medications, and performing various clinical tasks under their supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient intake, preparation for exams, and vitals collection.
  • Support medical professionals during exams, procedures, and consultations.
  • Conduct basic lab tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in a related field is preferred but not necessary.
  • 6 months of clinical experience is beneficial, preferably in a primary care setting.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly valued; active certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) is essential.
  • BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
