Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Technician to join our team at Component Repair Technologies. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) on turbine engine components using fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) and fluorescent magnetic particle inspection (FMPI).

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills in NDT and contribute to the success of our company. You will work closely with our experienced technicians and certified Level III inspectors to gain hands-on experience and training in our state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform NDT inspections in accordance with OEM procedures to detect surface defects in turbine engine components.
  2. Set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate results, and accurately record and document findings.
  3. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the scope of limitation of the technique or method used for part certification.
  4. Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards.
  5. Participate in a proven on-the-job training program (OJT) and NAS410 structured certification program to attain Level II certification.

Requirements:

  • One year of experience as a Level I or II in NDT methods for which qualification and/or certification is required.
  • The ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions accurately, including reading and interpretation of shop drawings.
  • Previous experience in the use of overhead cranes.
  • Shown a previous ability to successfully pass skill level tests in other trades or disciplines.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
