Marshfield Medical Center - Marshfield is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
- Associate Degree, Diploma, or Certification in a Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Experience working with mechanical ventilation of patients from neonatal to geriatric.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license awarded by the State of Wisconsin or Michigan depending on location.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care and maintain the active credential per NBRC Guidelines.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications awarded by the American Heart Association within one year of hire.
