Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist or Polysomnographic Technician to join our team at Marshfield Clinic Health System. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will provide sleep care services to patients in accordance with the provider's direction and established protocols. This includes independently performing Polysomnograms (PSG), Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), Maintenance Wakefulness Tests (MWT), and Unattended Sleep Studies.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire and maintain special technical skills and medical knowledge to render quality patient care.
  • Perform sleep studies, including PSG, MSLT, MWT, and unattended sleep studies.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to provide sleep care services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely results.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited polysomnographic technology program preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Technician (CRT), Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (END), or Polysomnographic Technologist required.
  • Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) as a registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT) required.
