Role Overview:

As a key player in our operations, Warehouse associates are crucial to our success. You will work diligently, safely, and independently to ensure the smooth flow of products through our distribution system while adhering to quality standards. In the role of Loader, Non-Formula, your responsibilities will include transporting items into trailers using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts or manually.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently transport items designated for shipping into the trailer using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand, following a predetermined loading sequence.
  • Move outgoing products from the staging area to the loading dock using a forklift.
  • Secure pallets with cellophane, ensuring loads are stable and shipping labels are correctly placed.
  • Identify the appropriate slot on the trailer for the order, position it accurately, and secure the load upon completion.
  • Remove empty pallets, cardboard packaging, and strapping to designated areas or receptacles.
  • Inspect empty pallets for any damage, stack them appropriately, and transport them to the designated storage area using a pallet jack or forklift.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse, loading dock, and trailers as required.
  • Adhere to all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure the work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions or actions immediately.
  • Review work schedules, conduct safety checks on equipment, gather necessary supplies, and prepare for operations.
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
  • Inspect empty trailers at the loading dock to ensure they are clean and clear before loading, taking appropriate action as necessary.
  • Meet productivity and accuracy standards as outlined by location and company guidelines.
  • Replace batteries requiring recharging, complete vehicle inspection checklists, and assist Order Selectors as needed.
  • Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
