Job Title: Intensive Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Winchester.

About the Role:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Monitor and document patient condition, keeping physicians informed of any changes or concerns.
  • Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, and referral needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing required.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
  • Current and active Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of Tennessee or compact license with the required forms filed with the State of Tennessee within 30 days.
