About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Winchester. As a key member of our ICU team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Monitor and document patient condition, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- Current and active Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of Tennessee or compact license with the required forms filed with the State of Tennessee within 30 days.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
