We are seeking highly skilled Track Inspector/Maintainer 1st Cl (1201) candidates to join our team in the Philadelphia region.

About the Job

This role offers an excellent compensation package, including a starting pay rate of $35.34/hour and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect tracks, report and record track conditions, and perform emergency repairs as needed.
  • Ensure safe passage for all rail vehicles by checking clearance and gage, surface, and alignment of track.
  • Tighten and adjust switches, wedges, frogs, third rail components, rail joints, derails, and other track-related devices.
  • Install and maintain appropriate signage for slow zones, work zones, and other safety measures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Experience in track work, preferably with ultra-sonic testing equipment.
  • Certifications in track, flag, and street work zone operations.
