As a Wildland Firefighter Type 2, you will play a critical role in fire suppression and fuels management duties in challenging climate, fuel, and terrain conditions.

Responsibilities:

* Serve on an engine crew, hand crew, or tender
* Perform fire suppression and fuels management duties
* Work in the Operations Section

Requirements:

* Introduction to ICS (ICS-100) certification
* Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service (L-180) certification
* Firefighter Training (S-130) certification
* Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior (S-190) certification
* NIMS: An Introduction (IS-700) certification
* Wildland Fire Safety Training Annual Refresher (WFSTAR) (RT-130) certification
* Ability to pass a WCT (Work Capacity Test/Pack Test) at Arduous Level
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* DOT Medical Examiner's Certification
* Current driver's license with acceptable driving record
