This is a hybrid role that requires collaboration between the Commercial Bank Product organization and Risk Management departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for consulting with, educating, and supporting the execution of first-line risk programs, promoting a culture of risk awareness and ownership across the Bank.
Key Responsibilities- Risk Oversight: Serve as a subject matter expert within the Product Organization, providing guidance and process coaching to ensure effective collaboration between the BU and Risk Management departments. Generate, analyze, and utilize BU Risk Reports to identify potential risks that may impact the BU and provide necessary clarification.
- Risk Collaboration: Assess impact and provide education around current and emerging issues and regulatory requirements with senior management and BU key stakeholders. Participate in mandatory risk training and educate BU personnel on key risk programs and topics.
- Risk Governance: Maintain and utilize a strong understanding of business operations, risks, controls, and related laws and regulatory guidance. Support the BU's participation in relevant risk governance group meetings. Monitor and ensure the incorporation of Risk Limits into core BU processes.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk and Project Management or Internal/External Consulting, Business Risk Process Management, Product Management.
- High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk and Project Management or Internal/External Consulting, Business Risk Process Management, Product Management.
The base pay for this position is relative to your experience, with a range of $106,482.00 to $184,482.00 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
