- Ensure Safety and Security: Monitor and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, and ensure that all employees are aware of and follow company safety policies.
- Manage Inventory and Logistics: Coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of freight, ensuring that all inventory is accurately tracked and accounted for.
- Develop and Implement Process Improvements: Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Communicate with Team Members and Customers: Provide clear and concise communication to employees and customers, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date on shipping and receiving schedules.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- 2+ Years of Experience in Logistics or Transportation: Required.
- Supervisory Experience: Preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations: Required.
- Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Required.
