Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Equipment Operator to join our team at MS-IL Staffing & Packaging. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the receipt, shipment, and recording of goods to and from various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various types of forklift equipment, including stand-up order pickers and dock stockers.
  • Assist in the material handling and warehousing functions, including receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Verify quantities, parts, destinations, and timing using work from a variety of source documents.
  • Use machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
  • Operate mechanical, motorized, and electrical equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read and write documents.
  • At least 6 months of experience with stand-up tall reach forklifts, order picker forklifts, or stand-up dock stockers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Warehouse experience.
  • Logistics experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
  • Lifting, lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
  • Work from heights of up to 20 feet from the floor.
  • Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.

Dress Code:

  • Warehouse attire, steel-toe or composite-toe shoes required from day one.
