Key Responsibilities:

Your primary role will be to oversee the effective operation and upkeep of all facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, structural, and safety equipment, in alignment with service agreements and performance indicators. You will provide strategic leadership to the maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

You will be responsible for the successful execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including regular audits of maintenance tasks and corrective actions.

Developing and implementing strategies to ensure safe operations and high equipment reliability will be crucial. This includes fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with regulations.

As part of your duties, you will manage programs such as thermography, vibration analysis, and lubrication monitoring, which may involve vendor selection, scheduling, and performance analysis.

You will also conduct investigations into operational events and equipment failures to identify root causes and implement corrective measures, ensuring effective follow-up.

Regular audits of programs and systems will be necessary to evaluate safety, compliance, maintenance efficiency, cost savings, and energy conservation.

You will establish and track equipment reliability metrics, collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize tasks and recommend improvements based on data analysis.

Additionally, you will enhance maintenance procedures to optimize workflow and improve equipment performance.

Support for commissioning activities related to upgrades and renovations will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring maintainability and documentation standards are met.

Ranking asset criticality using Reliability Centered Maintenance approaches will be essential, as will defining proactive maintenance strategies that are cost-effective.

Utilizing predictive technologies to enhance operational performance and lifecycle costs will be a key focus.

You will also champion the development of a skills matrix for the maintenance team to optimize work assignments.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or a related scientific field, along with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, particularly in mechanical design and international quality standards.

Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and methodologies, including vibration analysis and root cause failure analysis, is highly desirable.

A strong understanding of engineering principles as they apply to the maintenance of building systems and equipment is essential.

Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $146,040 annually, inclusive of potential bonuses.
