About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Usher Team as a Guest Services Usher at Talladega Superspeedway. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience for our guests, ensuring their safety and satisfaction throughout their visit.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough checks of your assigned area before gates open to ensure all is in order and working properly.
  • Greet and welcome each guest, providing clear directions to seating sections, restrooms, concession stands, and other facility services and amenities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Talladega Superspeedway stadium layout to effectively assist guests with their queries.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest comments, questions, and requests, providing accurate information and resolving issues in a courteous manner.
  • Handle customer inquiries, including seating and ticket issues, in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Assist guests with locating their seats and provide clear instructions on how to access restricted areas.
  • Enforce Speedway policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • Verify credentials to control access into restricted areas and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Usher Team Leaders and TSS Management.
Requirements
  • Ability to review written and electronic materials, including tickets, in both digital and physical formats.
  • Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and personable, with excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to be on feet for extended periods (8-12 hours) and work in variable seasonal weather conditions.
  • Ability to work with others and take direction, while maintaining a clean and presentable appearance at all times.
