Talladega Superspeedway, a premier NASCAR venue, seeks a skilled Event General Maintenance professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the track is prepared for events, rentals, and on-site activities.
Responsibilities:- Operate a variety of equipment, including tractors, compactors, backhoes, and water trucks, to maintain the track and surrounding areas.
- Communicate and manage relationships with track vendors and contractors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairing tools, water lines, fences, gates, walls, walkways, and buildings.
- Paint track walls, fences, concrete barriers, grounds, and buildings as needed.
- Collaborate with other facilities staff to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and climbing.
