Position Overview
As a Certified Nursing Aide at Buckner International, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our senior residents. Your responsibilities will include providing compassionate, hands-on healthcare and fostering meaningful relationships with residents.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Conducting regular rounds to ensure the comfort, safety, and cleanliness of residents.
  • Delivering high-quality care services, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, and grooming.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in resident areas and equipment.
  • Documenting daily activities and health information accurately and promptly.
  • Assisting residents with mobility and transportation within the facility.
  • Encouraging participation in restorative activities and social engagement.
  • Communicating effectively with residents and their families, ensuring a supportive atmosphere.
Qualifications
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
  • A valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification from the state of Texas.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with residents and staff.
  • Completion of required training and certifications, including CPR and First Aid.
  • A compassionate demeanor, strong listening skills, and a commitment to meeting the needs of senior adults.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical capability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting and moving residents.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, we value candidates with:
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare or senior living environment.
