Key Responsibilities- Telephone Triage: Perform telephone triage as ordered by our providers, engaging in consultations with patients to determine the best course of action.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct concise assessments of patients' conditions, gathering information about their primary complaints and vital signs, and determining the urgency of seeing the patient.
- Communication: Provide clear and calm communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams, respecting confidentiality and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Documentation: Collect and document patient information thoroughly and consistently, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, other clinicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- Education: RN or LPN degree, current state RN/LPN license, and current BLS certificate or ability to complete within 60 days of hire.
- Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and calmly with patients, knowledge of telephone-based clinical assessment techniques, and medical practice telephone triage protocols.
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with no weekends or holidays.
