Dick Broadcasting Company Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Media Sales Professional to join our team in the Myrtle Beach market. As a Media Sales Professional, you will be responsible for identifying and creating solutions to help local and national businesses thrive in this environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Grow advertising revenue through both traditional and non-traditional media channels
• Effectively communicate with clients and staff to develop strong relationships and drive sales growth
• Utilize strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple sales initiatives and meet sales targets
• Develop and deliver sales presentations in live settings to clients and prospects
• Collaborate with the promotions and on-air teams to develop and execute sales strategies
• Travel to client and prospect locations to win and support accounts
• Follow up on all self-generated and company-generated contacts in an organized and effective fashion
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
• Prepare for and attend weekly 1:1 and weekly sales meetings
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sales performance
**Requirements:**
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma (some college preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proven sales record and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
