Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at MCR Hotels. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our hotel's financial transactions, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register guests and process transactions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prepare and balance daily reports, including revenue and expense statements
  • Conduct security walks and ensure the safety and security of our guests and staff
  • Initiate and complete the End of Day process, including reconciling transactions and preparing reports
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with our front desk team to ensure seamless guest service and maximize room revenue
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including guest information and financial transactions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, preferably in a front desk or revenue management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and resolve issues
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in Windows operating systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, preferably in a front desk or revenue management role
  • Brand knowledge and experience, preferably with Marriott or Hilton
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures and revenue management
