Front Office Supervisor

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, checking guests in and out of the hotel, and answering any questions guests may have about the hotel or surrounding area. The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Front Office Manager as well as all Front Desk Agents and Night Auditors. Individual must be well versed in front office operations and will act as Manager on Duty during some shifts.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO- Greet guests as they arrive and check them in to their rooms
- Answer any questions guests may have about the hotel or surrounding area
- Assist guests with any needs they may have during their stay
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ensure that the front desk area is clean and organized at all times
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure that guest rooms are clean and in good condition
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
- Monitor and maintain inventory of all retail and guest supplies
- Assist with front office scheduling and managing request offs
- Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Must have at least 2 years of front desk hotel experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
