Responsibilities:

  • Install and terminate CAT5 and CAT6 data cabling
  • Install ladder racks and networking equipment
  • Install security equipment, including card readers, door readers, and cameras
  • Work closely with data communication systems and equipment
  • Provide assistance to other technicians on the project site


Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience with pulling and terminating CAT5 and CAT6 cable in a commercial building
  • Experience with data communication systems is a must
  • Security networking systems experience, including CCTV, alarm systems, and card access
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
  • Must be customer service oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Must have reliable transportation and own tools
